Lewys Prendergast tweeted last night: "If Eder scores the winner I'll honestly change my name to Robert Earnshaw. Not a f*****g chance."
The post has been retweeted more than 5,500 times, and now the 21-year-old from Aberdare has been forced to stick to his word - after Eder sealed Portugal's victory over France after replacing Renato Sanchez in the 79th minute of Sunday’s final.
