Eva Bevan, seven, would roll her eyes at mum Lauri(corr) whenever she broke down in tears.
Single mum Lauri Cowdell, 37, from Ebbw Vale, south Wales said: "She was braver than me, she kept us all going.
"If ever I started crying she would roll her eyes the way young girls do at their mums.
"She was wicked and would say to me: "You're not crying again mum."
Only child Eva was fit and healthy before complaining of a pain in her hip and tiredness.
Hospital theatre nurse Lauri took her to the doctor thinking she had hurt herself in a rough and tumble game with her friends. « less
