Arsenal fan Lesley Woolcock, 47, said her dying wish was to meet the former England striker and TV soccer pundit.<br />
Her family launched a Twitter campaign and Ian responded by giving Lesley a surprise phone call.<br />
Ian, 52, promised to visit her in Barry, South Wales, and the meeting was set for later this month. <br />
But mum-of-two Lesley died of ovarian cancer last week with her family at her bedside.
