Kerrell, who lives at the Whitton area, Knighton, Powys, was charged with killing Hollie Kerrell, 28, when he appeared before Merthyr Magistrates on Sunday.
The body of Ms Kerrell, also of Knighton, was discovered at a farm four days after her disappearance.
