Friday 16 September 2016<br /> Re: Rogue traders Matthew Hargreaves and John Barry Hargreaves have been jailed for 18 months and Jean Hargreaves has been given suspended sentence by Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court for selling a teeth whitening product with harmful levels of hydrogen peroxide, 110 times the legal limit, after a three year nationwide investigation by Powys County Council’s Trading Standards Service culminated in guilty pleas being entered by three Manchester based rogue traders. <br /> Charges relating to Fraud and Consumer Protection offences were pursued relating to the sale of unsafe teeth whitening products across the UK.
