Re: A pensioner who claimed her husband left home three days after they moved into a new house, but was in fact living with him for eight years, fraudulently claimed £50,000 in benefits, Swansea Crown court has heard.<br />
Audrey Jean Davies received payments of pension credits, and housing and council tax benefits over that period.<br />
Prosecutor Ieaun Rees, told Swansea Crown Court that three days after they moved to their house in the Penlan area of Swansea, Davies said her husband left.<br />
She was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 18 months.
