Re: Fire engines were positioned close to homes overnight as a large grass fire raged on a mountainside in south Wales.
A helicopter is being deployed to help crews tackle the blaze which covers over 100 hectares (247 acres) in Wattsville near Crosskeys on Thursday.
Pine trees and bracken could be seen well alight, said South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
