Re: The elderly grandparents of soccer star Gareth Bale's fiancee have gone into hiding after a suspected "grudge attack" on their home.<br />
Pensioners John McMurray, 79, and wife Eva, 84, were asleep when their car was set on fire and bricks hurled through their windows.<br />
Real Madrid star Gareth, 27, was yesterday(sun) comforting Emma Rhys Jones, 25, who always visits the couple when she is home from Spain.<br />
Retired gamekeeper Mr McMurray and his wife have been moved into a safe house while police investigate the arson attack in Llanishen, Cardiff.<br />
A neighbour said: "We were woken up by a loud crack and a flash - I could see the car was on fire in their driveway.<br />
"I called the fire brigade and I could see the McMurray's trying to get out of their house.
