Re: Chef Kamrul Islam who attacked a client with chilli powder is due to appear before Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court.<br />
David Evans was at the Prince of Bengal restaurant on Saturday night when the incident took place.<br />
The 46-year-old was out for dinner with his wife Michelle when they were asked by a waiter if they were enjoying their curry.<br />
The couple said they told the waiter their meal was “tough and rubbery” and he passed the complaint onto the head chef.<br />
Michelle said chilli powder was then thrown into her husband’s eyes and he was taken to hospital.
