Re: A very special father-and-daughter team have tackled the Cardiff Triathlon.
Poppy Jones, 11, who will be competing alongside dad Rob Jones, wants to win the event.
And she’s not going to let the fact that she has quadriplegic cerebral palsy , which means she can’t sit, stand, roll or support herself, and chronic lung disease stop her.
She will be by Rob’s side every step of the way thanks to a cutting-edge wheelchair and boat – for Rob to push or pull – designed especially for the event, which sees participants take part in a swim across Cardiff Bay , a run and a bike ride.
