Poppy Jones, 11, who will be competing alongside dad Rob Jones, wants to win the event.
And she’s not going to let the fact that she has quadriplegic cerebral palsy , which means she can’t sit, stand, roll or support herself, and chronic lung disease stop her.
She will be by Rob’s side every step of the way thanks to a cutting-edge wheelchair and boat – for Rob to push or pull – designed especially for the event, which sees participants take part in a swim across Cardiff Bay , a run and a bike ride. « less
