Re: Stephen Hughes, a drugs courier responsible for driving kilos of cocaine around south Wales as part of a million pound dealing operation has no assets left and has been ordered to pay back £1 by Swansea Crown Court, Wales, UK.<br />
Hughes who was known as Sky Steve because of his work for the satellite broadcaster was the trusted lieutenant of Port Talbot scaffolder Daniel Baker who was running the business. <br />
It is believed that the were responsible for shipping around nine kilos of the Class A drugs to communities across the south Wales valleys, to Bridgend and Cardiff in a conspiracy worth more than £1m.<br />
They were jailed last year for a total of 20 years but the case returned to Swansea Crown Court this week for a Proceeds of Crime Act hearing where the authorities try to claw back criminals ill-gotten gains.
